No it isn’t. What we didn’t cover in our Mind Lab Pro review is that this nootropic is not FDA approved. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
It is because it is technically a dietary supplement which does not fall under the FDA’s (Food and Drug Administration) jurisdiction.
However, the Phosphatidylserine in Mind Lab Pro has an FDA-qualified claim for reducing cognitive decline risk.
Mind Lab Pro® uses Sharp PS® Green, which is a soy-free, non-GMO, eco-friendly phosphatidylserine derived from sunflower lecithin.

Mind Lab Pro is manufactured in FDA approved facilities
Mind Lab Pro is not FDA approved because it is not a drug. Only prescription drugs can get full approval from the FDA. Without being a prescription drug, there is no way for Mind Lab Pro to get this approval.
However, Mind Lab Pro is manufactured in FDA approved facilities, which is the next best thing.
FDA approved facilities are exactly what you want when it comes to supplements and nootropics. They are facilities which have been seen to operate at standards deemed acceptable by the FDA.
That means that they are working at levels of safety, cleanliness and efficiency that the FDA approve of.
Essentially, Mind Lab Pro is being manufactured in a good environment with high standards.
Are any Natural Nootropics Stacks FDA approved?
There are no natural nootropics which have FDA approval, as they are all technically dietary supplements. The only nootropics on the market which have any kind of FDA approval are prescription drugs.
A good example of this would be Adderall, Modafinil and things of that nature. It would be a drug that a doctor would have to prescribe for you to use.
Natural nootropic stacks are available to buy online or over the counter without a prescription. They are registered as dietary supplements and as such they do not qualify for FDA approval.
It’s not that are not up to standard in terms of quality – it’s just that they fall under a different category which is out of the FDA’s scope.
Note about Mind Lab Pro, Nootropics, Supplements and the FDA
No supplement or nootropic has FDA approval. Mind Lab Pro and others are all technically classed as dietary supplements. Dietary supplements are not drugs, therefore they do not qualify for an assessment from Food and Drug Administration.
If they required a prescription for use, then they would enter a process to undergo FDA approval. However, as they are all natural stacks you will not see these supplements getting that certification.
Mind Lab Pro is not FDA Approved – But it’s not so bad…
As we’ve mentioned, Mind Lab Pro is not FDA approved – but none are any of the other natural nootropic stacks on the market.
However, it’s worth knowing that it is manufactured in an FDA approved facility, as well as the Phosphatidylserine being acknowledged by the FDA to help fight cognitive decline.
Not only that, there’s a lot of clinical evidence to vouch for the other ingredients in Mind Lab Pro. In our opinion, it’s one of the best nootropic stacks on the market. You can read our full review by following the link at the top of this page.
